ABOUT

Wayy Research is an applied AI research and development firm, founded in Buffalo, NY in 2024.

We help companies find and build the AI systems that actually move a number in their business. Not a roadmap, not a slide deck, a working system in production. Our process comes from hands on technical work: problem framing, retrieval and knowledge systems, agentic automation, and production deployment.

Our founder spent a decade across trading floors, hedge funds, and institutional technology before starting Wayy Research. That background is why we work the way we do: quantify the outcome first, build the smallest thing that proves it, then scale what actually works.

Who We Work With

We work best with established, mid-market companies, generally somewhere between $10 million and $250 million in annual revenue, that already have a real business running and want AI to make a specific part of it work better. Our clients tend to come from manufacturing, logistics, energy, and healthcare operations, industries where a workflow already exists, already produces revenue, and can be measurably improved rather than reinvented from scratch. We're probably not the right fit for a pre-revenue startup still looking for product-market fit, and we're not set up for the year-long procurement cycle that a large enterprise often needs before any work can start. If your company is already running and you want AI to move a specific number inside it, that's the conversation we're built for.
